Wayne's Story
USAHS Flex Student Courtney Laymon, SPT is lighting up lives during her internship! She's been working wonders with Wayne, who recently survived a stroke. With her keen eye and expertise from the O&P course at USAHS, Courtney sprung into action! She connected Wayne with Steps 4 Love, to ensure he got the device he needed. With precision and care, Courtney measured his leg, ordered the ankle-foot orthosis (AFO), and together with the OT, fine-tuned it to perfection. Wayne's newfound confidence and joy in walking without fear of falling say it all! Big applause to Courtney for spreading hope and making dreams come true!
