About Mike

Mike Boman, PT, DPT, PhD(C)

Board Member, Treasurer
Michael Boman earned his bachelor's degree in Sports & Fitness from the University of Central Florida in 2006. He worked in the field of recreation and sports for about 5 years, before heading back to school to pursue his dream as a physical therapist. He received his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from the University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences in 2015 and was voted Most Outstanding Flex Physical Therapy Student for his cohort. He worked in the outpatient orthopedic and sports medicine area for several years. He did a stint in an inpatient hospital setting in two different hospitals working full-time as a "per requested need" (PRN) therapist. For the past 5 years, he has returned to the outpatient orthopedic and sports medicine world. In addition to his clinical time, he is teaching Gross Anatomy, Biomechanics for a majority of his work in the Flex program at the University of St. Augustine. In 2022, he earned a certification in Human Anatomy and started his Ph.D. program at Texas Woman's University.
