8.12.23. Update
Running Frame 3.0
We're incredibly excited to share an exciting development from our dedicated team at Steps 4 Love! John Ventimiglia, a skilled artisan who played a pivotal role in the construction of the frame, joined forces with Richard Coleman, CPO, and the Founder of Steps 4 Love, Dr. Scott Love, DPT, to bring this concept to life: a running frame.
Designed with the needs of amputees in mind, this running frame offers a safe and supportive environment for individuals to practice running without the fear of falling. The frame features a harness system attached to its center, providing stability and security to the runner as they navigate their strides.
After meticulous design and construction, test runs have yielded promising results. Physical Therapy students at the University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences (USAHS) got to test the frame as a form of stress releif post-finals!
We're immensely proud of the progress we've made and grateful for the unwavering support of our community. Together, we're breaking barriers and paving the way for a brighter, more inclusive future. Stay tuned for more updates as we continue to innovate and uplift in the amputee community!
